I can’t find the add-on in Slides or Docs

In Google Slides, the add-on lives in the Extensions menu in the top menu bar. In Google Docs, it opens from the side panel on the right — click its icon.

If it’s missing, reload the browser tab — a document that was already open when you installed the add-on won’t show it until refreshed. Also make sure you’re signed in with the same Google account you used to install it. On a work or school account, your Workspace administrator may need to allow the add-on first.

The sidebar is blank or stuck loading

This is almost always caused by being signed in to several Google accounts at once — Google may then run the add-on under the wrong account. Sign out of the other accounts, or open the document in an incognito window (or a browser profile) with only one account, and try again.

Also check that your browser or an extension isn’t blocking pop-ups or third-party cookies — the sidebar needs them to load.

The add-on stopped working or shows an error

A clean reinstall fixes most problems:

In Google Slides, open Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons and uninstall the add-on — this removes it from Docs too.
In your Google account permissions, remove the add-on’s access to reset its authorization.
Reinstall it from the Google Workspace Marketplace and authorize it again.

I paid but my license isn’t active

Activation is automatic and usually takes less than 3 minutes — close and reopen the add-on to refresh it.

If it’s still locked, check that the email address you entered at checkout is the same Google account you use with the add-on — the license is linked to that address. Paid with a different email? Write to olivier@toolbow.com with the address you paid with and your Google account, and I’ll activate your license manually.

Does it work in Google Docs too?

Yes. Color and font replacement work in both Google Slides and Google Docs, and text styles are available in Docs.

Can I replace a color across all slides at once?

Yes. You can input any hex code for colors, and Search & Replace supports all fonts available in Google Slides and Docs, including custom fonts loaded into your account.
